Sadio Mane: Hope Ederson Quickly Heals and Comes Back
Liverpool’s Sadio Mane got a red card in a game against Manchester City in the fourth week of the Premier League on Saturday (9/9/2017).
Sadio Mane got a red card after he lifted the foot too high in the race for the ball that made his foot hit the face of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes.
The strike had time to make the Brazilian goalkeeper was unconscious and then replaced by Claudio Bravo.
Mane’s red card in the 37th minute to make the game Liverpool did not grow and make Manchester City managed to score four of five additional goals to goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
Mane himself apologized to Ederson through his personal Instagram account.
“I hope for Ederson to get well soon, I’m very sorry to have him injured in a collision I did not intend on the pitch and I apologize for making him unable to finish the game,” Mane wrote.
“I pray he recovered quickly and soon returned to play,” he wrote.
Mane himself had to undergo a three match ban ban for getting a straight red card.
Meanwhile, Ederson is not yet certain to be absent in how many matches due to the injury.
